Remain committed to not enabling their addiction any more. If they pass out on the sidewalk; leave them there, even if the sprinklers come on. If they become violent, call the police and have them arrested. They can go straight to rehab from there if they so choose.

Drug addictions affect families and loved ones as much as they do the addict, so you must first be ready to break yourself free.
