I had an unfortunate event lead me to Recovery Cafe and their online group. I went in pretty much apprehensive about the whole thing, but after the first night I felt find and ended up learning a lot. I don’t know exactly what will happen when all this is behind me, but I now have a better understanding of the risks I am taking and am choosing my actions with a lot more awareness.
I know it sucks having to go to places like this when we did not exactly volunteer, but, looking back, this was a fork in the road for me, and I don’t know if it was me or them, but somehow attending those sessions really helped.
